About the band
The singer in the band Roger Häggström is a prolific songwriter. These songs are the focus of the group and the recordings.

The musicians all live in Örnsköldsvik or Umeå, small towns in the north of Sweden. Most of us play many instruments.

Two CD's are made by the group so far. The music is varied Americana of different flavors. Simplicity is the name of the game.

Now, a couple of words for all our Swedish fans:

Roger & the Rockets (Roger och Raketerna) har släppt en ny skiva,Walking band efter förra årets debutskiva Unknown man.

Ännu en gång har vi slagit till med Amerikana av bästa märke, det blev 13 originallåtar denna gång. Inspelningen gjordes i Umeå hos Tonteknik Recordings med god hjälp av Pelle Henricsson som spelade trummor och producerade/mixade och mastrade. Skivan är pressad och kommer med ett fint illustrerat texthäfte. En bärande idé med plattan var att lufta en del av min stora samling vintage instrument och förstärkare vid inspelningen. Det var riktigt kul! Alla är nöjda med resultatet, vi hoppas att ni också blir det.

And a warm welcome to all our foreign friends. The CD's are in the English language and the music is very much Americana, from the root to the smallest leaf. That's the way we like it. Write us a line in the guestbook before you leave!
