Obvious Talent Abounds
This track starts with a short strong intro and gets better. The guitar and mandoline combination with the lead guitar is beautifully mixed. Sounds like a traditional Appalachian folk song with a strong vocalist whose performance is enhanced by clean production. Talent here is obvious on this well executed song.

Energy
Allright! 50s meets modern rock. Love the energy. You sound kina like a happy Jet(the band). Good recording. Very pro. Love the melodies. Great energy till the end. Refreshing. 5

Big chorus is a winner
This song's big chorus, reminiscent of a call-and-answer hymn, makes this song a hit. The lyrics have a work-song quality to them that's a hallmark of good Americana music and I can certainly see myself singing this as a way to pass the time during some manual labor-type task. The vocalist has a nice Bob Dylan quality to his voice that is perfectly suited for the music; it doesn't sound pretentious or put on but quite natural and organic. The melody is catchy (I'm still singing it as I write this after the song has finished!). As for who you sound like, Old Crow Medicine Show springs to mind, as well as a bit of Flogging Molly, although not so Irish as the latter. :)

I really like this
Right from the start. Good feel/mood/tempo. The lyrics and the melody are great and the vocal performance is terrific, lotsa character but clear and appealing.
I feel like somewhere between Jackson Brown and Bryan Adams, maybe a little Bruce & E street in there too. I like the writing style of the lyrics. Good arrangement. The guitar work is good, the synth work is a little to loud in the mix in my opinion, but I like that rougher sound. Anyway- a real well written and performed Americana flavored pop song.

Dear Roger & the Rockets,
thanks for your new CD Walking Band, I already did a review about your cd, I must say the qaulity of the songs are awesome and I did enjoy listen to your music. Stay on this way and you will make more good songs. Through the simplicity of the lyrics is this Cd unique. I find the using of the original old instruments awesome because those instruments give extra warmth to your music. This is really you will listen to with a good glas of whiskey and a good cigar by a open fire on a cold Winterday and you will get it warmth in your heart from it. This is pure music which music should sounds. You may use this small review for publicity and you may put it on your website.
Dear Roger thanks again for this nice master piece you delivered to me.
When you bring out something new lett me know.
Many Dutch greetings from
