About the band
The singer in the band Roger Häggström is a prolific songwriter. These songs are the focus of the group and the recordings.

The musicians all live in Örnsköldsvik or Umeå, small towns in the north of Sweden. Most of us play many instruments.

Two CD's are made by the group so far. The music is varied Americana of different flavors. Simplicity is the name of the game.

Now, a couple of words for all our Swedish fans:

Roger & the Rockets har en ny skiva inspelad som väntar på mixning/mastring och pressning. Planerat släpp i februari-mars 2012. Det här är en platta stöpt i samma form som Walking band - bara bättre! Än en gång har vi hålli till hos TonTeknik i Umeå där vi har jobbat hårdare än någonsin. Vi är nöjda med allt så långt, allt ifrån låtarna, våra insatser i studion till hur det låter i högtalarna. Ett releasparty är ju ett måste när skivan är klar, vi återkommer med datum och plats.

Nu längtar vi efter att få spela inför publik och har börjat jaga gigs till en miniturné nästa sommar. När vi får napp kommer datum att publiceras på siten.

And a warm welcome to all our foreign friends. The CD's are in the English language and the music is very much Americana, from the root to the smallest leaf. That's the way we like it. Write us a line in the guestbook before you leave!
